FACTS—
👉🏻 lost his father to cancer when he was 13, and with no siblings it was him and his mother against the world from that point on. they were always incredibly close, seungyoun taking on part time jobs from when he was 14 to help ease his mother's workload around the house. last year his mother met and married a wealthy man and he made her dream of travelling the world come true - it was time for seungyoun to move out and start facing life on his own. his biggest goal is to never have to stoop to asking his stepdad for money, but his mom can't resist sending him presents from time to time.

👉🏻 music has always been his dream, but as the years go by it seems less and less likely that he'll ever make a real living off of it. his studio apartment looks more like a music studio than somewhere that anyone lives, and no matter what time of night you stop by he'll probably be up working on something. he produces for his friends, some of whom are moderately well known names, and occasionally sings in bars and nightclubs around the city, but it's not something he's making a whole lot of money off of, like any indie artist. can he get you your favorite hiphop/r&b artist's number? maybe. he performs and produces under the stage name "woodz".

👉🏻 his mother had always wished for him to get a university degree, something she'd never been able to accomplish for herself, but he's already in his fourth year with no plans for graduation in sight. this year he cut his courses back to two to pick up more shifts at his part time job at a cafe in hongdae. the degree was supposed to be in business, but somehow he's picked up more music electives than core courses.

👉🏻 seungyoun loves being around people and his quick to warm up to anyone who shows him kindness. the only time he closes himself off to the outside world is when he's having a difficult time with a track, and you probably don't want to cross him then. he's not a terrible cook but he hates cooking, so you can usually find him looking for someone to go check out a new restaurant with.

👉🏻 smokes both cigarettes and weed, and will be happy to go out of his way to get some of the devil's lettuce for any of his friends, especially if they're willing to smoke with him. he drinks as much as the average korean male in his 20s (a lot) and has been known to partake in harder drugs at parties when people are offering. it's all just for fun, though.

🤫 despite his always upbeat exterior, seungyoun suffers from depression and severe insomnia. it's not something he's spoken to anyone about, not even to his own mother, and he's never sought treatment. lately he's been averaging about two hours of sleep a night, and when he does manage to get there he suffers from night terrors. although he's quick to be friendly with everyone he meets, it takes a while for him to really let someone in out of a fear of being a burden.

183cm/6'0", his weight fluctuates depending on how he's feeling. in his healthier times he's a gym rat, when he's not sleeping his weight often slips below 60kg.
